It can sometimes be a bit overwhelming how many different yoga styles there are to choose from. Below you can find out some more about the different styles that Irene teaches. Hatha means in Sanskrit the union of the opposites sun (ha) and moon (tha). Where sun (ha) can be associated with effort and heat, and moon (tha) with surrendering and cooling. The idea of hatha yoga is to bring these opposites into balance via a series of physical poses (asana) which will also leave the body feeling strong and flexible.
